Training the Microsoft Field Sales Force

RPM Systems developed the training materials shown below. We then trained the Microsoft field sales force in Los Angeles and Chicago on the nuances of project management and how to represent Microsoft Project 1.0 for Windows to potential buyers. The three-ring binder included several demonstration scripts and two 36 inch by 10-foot blueprints. The blueprints were key to selling Project. In just a few minutes, after the blueprints were unfolded, the potential buyers understood the power of Project.

After the development of the Hydromax Seaplane case study for training within Microsoft, it was further developed into a week-long, graduate-level master class RPM has taught at Oxford, at the University of Technology Sydney, and at Queensland University of Technology.
